SEMIAHMOO RESORT, WASHINGTON
|

|
This is Washington State's premier
Seaside golf community. Located near the Canadian border,
just one hour south of Vancouver and two hours north of Seattle, the resort is
set on a 1100 acre natural wildlife preserve.
The Resort consists of
the AAA Four Diamond Inn, Award winning golf course, marina, full service spa
and health club.

Golf
Semiahmoo Resort features two of the Northwests finest courses that
embody the pristine beauty of this dazzling region. Nestled in stands of cedar
and fir with stunning bay and mountain views, these courses are a magical
blend of unspoiled nature and resort amenities. Grazing deer and soaring
eagles often provide a wonderfully distracting gallery.
Semiahmoo Course:
Designed in 1986 by legendary golfer Arnold Palmer,
the Semiahmoo Golf Course incorporates the beauty of the natural surroundings
into one of the countrys most spectacular golf courses. In 1987, it was
cited by Golf Digest as the "Best New Resort Course in America."
Immaculately manicured fairways lead through cedar
and fir lined forests to challenging contoured greens that are surrounded by
white sand bunkers. Tee box placements adjust the degree of difficulty to make
the course playable for golfers of all skill levels. Yet, at 7,005 yards from
the tips, Arnold Palmer has created a golf course that challenges even tour
players, who consistently rank it as one of the best.
Loomis Trail Course: Selected
by Golf Digest as one of the "Top Three New Private Courses in
America," Loomis Trail is a spectacular achievement for its Canadian
designer Graham Cooke. Recently purchased by Resort Semiahmoo, the course can
now be played by non-members on even days of the month.
While its scenic beauty is undeniable, the consistently smooth, fast and true
greens are what place Loomis Trail among the northwests elite courses. With
the second highest slope rating in Washington State, Loomis Trail is not only
exceptionally groomed, it is also challenging, with water coming into play on
every hole. However, the bentgrass fairways reward the well-played shot with
an excellent stance and lie. Designed with one of the best drainage systems in
the Pacific Northwest, Loomis Trail is a delight to play any time of the year.

Lodging
The Resort offers 198 luxurious
guestrooms including 12 suites. Many guestrooms include wood-burning
fireplaces, patios or balconies. Guestrooms offer the unique charm
and style of the Pacific Northwest and feature beautiful views of
snow-capped mountains, Drayton Harbor, Semiahmoo Bay and the Gulf
Islands.
