The all-inclusive resort is wedged between the towering "Sierra de la Giganta" mountains and the cobalt blue waters of the Sea of Cortés in the Gulf of California, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The Loreto Desert Sun Resort consists of 236 rooms (Garden View, Sea View & Suites), including 9 suites. All rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, two beds or a king size bed (limited amount), balcony or patio with garden or ocean view, telephone, color satellite television and private bath with shower. Suites feature a living room with sofa bed, one king or two full beds, with full bathroom and two balconies. Selected suites feature giant balconies (shown below) on request.
