Four Seasons Manele Bay Hotel
|
|
|
Located above Hulopoe Bay, the hotel is set amid
acres of gardens, ponds, waterfalls, streams, and lawns. Full service spa, tennis, water sports and horseback
riding. Golf is played on either the Greg Norman or Jack Nicklaus designed courses.

Down by the sea, crowning red lava
cliffs, the majestic Four Seasons Manele Bay Hotel embraces both
the languor of the tropics and the refinement of Asia and the
Mediterranean. Mere steps away from the long arch of Hulopoe Beach
(named America's most beautiful shore), the resort is perfectly
situated for exploration of Lanai's spectacular coast -- or the
many natural attractions further inland. Ranked #1 among Hawaii
resorts by the Condé Nast Traveler 2000 Gold List: The Best
Places in the World to Stay, the resort has inspired devotion in
the world's most discriminating travelers, who return again and
again for the luxurious accommodations, sensational activities,
gourmet cuisine and the promise of rejuvenation.
Upon arrival you will immediately sense you have left the
ordinary world behind. Your pampering begins the moment you
arrive, when you are greeted with a lei of freshly gathered
flowers. In each of our 249 rooms and suites, at an average size
of 700 square feet, you'll find private balconies, original
artwork, and marble baths. In exclusive suites, butler service
upholds a worthy English tradition. And every night you find your
bed impeccably arranged with a mint-laced chocolate and an orchid
on your pillow.
The Experience at Koele
Built on 163 acres, leaving untouched as
much of the islands flora as possible, the course is designed
to take advantage of its natural terrain. The first seven holes
meander across high country at an altitude of 2,000 feet. The
"signature hole," Number 8, plays from a 250-foot
elevated tee to a fairway bordered by a lake along its right side,
and trees and dense shrubs along its left. The course's back nine
drops dramatically through ravines wooded with pine, koa and
eucalyptus trees. Water features, a Ted Robinson trademark, are
everywhere: seven lakes, flowing streams with cascading
waterfalls, and one green, Number 17, that is completely
surrounded by a lake.
